Princyclopedia

Princyclopedia is Cotsen Children's Library's huge annual event at Princeton University that brings a book to life through a multitude of hands-on projects, activities, and demonstrations! This year, on March 28, explore the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland and learn more about Victorian England. "Take time for tea, trot off on a snark hunt, try your hand at croquet, and test your skills on a giant chess set. And don't forget the Cheshire Cat, optical toys, science fun, puzzling poems, and perplexing puzzles. Finish it off with a delightful ride around campus in a horse-drawn carriage!"

And who knows? You might just run into some LCSNA members helping out!

Wonderland Award

Since 2005, University of Southern California students have created everything from poems, essays, and novels to films, paintings, and sculptures in pursuit of the Wonderland Award, a multidisciplinary competition inspired by the work of Lewis Carroll. The goal of the award is to promote the use of the G. Edward Cassady, M.D., and Margaret Elizabeth Cassady, R.N., Lewis Carroll Collection, held in USC's Doheny Memorial Library. From January 30 to May 16, these artworks can be seen at the library and online.
